We are so proud of our packaging design work for SKT Welfare’s The Date Project over the past 4 years.
These photos show children holding the charity date tins we designed, at the Springs of Hope Family Centre in Reyhanli, on the Turkey/Syria border.
The Springs of Hope Family Centre was created by SKT Welfare to provide Syrian orphans and widowed mothers with food, education, recreation, and counselling services, re-introducing Syrian children to a secure, stable, environment and enabling mothers to upskill, empowering them to seek employment and independence.
The dates The Date Project sell are ethically sourced; the finest Medjool dates from the Jordan Valley inside Jordan, hand-selected and packed by a community of Syrian refugees who are employed in the process.
100% of sales go direct to SKT’s charitable work across the world, including Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Somalia and the UK.
